PHOENIX- Sherry Finzer, Darin Mahoney, and Will Clipman, also known as Trialogue, took home Best Instrumental Album- Acoustic for their release Trialogue at the 13th annual Zone Music Reporter awards. The ceremony was held at the Loyola University campus in Louisiana on May 13, 2017. The awards highlight the best releases from New Age, World, and Instrumental music artists.
Sherry Finzer, an award-winning flutist, guitarist Darin Mahoney and seven time Grammy Nominee Will Clipman collaborated to create their debut album Trialogue last year. Since its April 2016 release, the album has gone on to garner rave reviews, commending the trio’s musicality and seemingly effortless synchronization. The album boasts a 10-song track list full of life, adventure, and serenity. Other nominees included guitarists Robert Linton, Guy Buttery, Todd Mosby, and Bob Kilgore w/Bear. The trio had several performances throughout Arizona in April, including The Musical Instrument Museum and a sold-out show at Desert Botanical Garden.
