Dr. Linda Bailey lives in Scottsdale, AZ. She teaches & freelances in the greater Phoenix area. She performs with DEF Project (Chamber, Fl.Choir & Com. Choir) & the National Flute Association Professional Flute Choir (2013-2018). In 2018 Dr. Bailey was awarded the honor of Principal flute in the NFA PFC. The NFA PFC is an annually auditioned flute choir. Prior to 2018, Dr. Bailey participated in the NFA PFC on both flute and piccolo.

Stephanie Hoeckley is an award-winning flutist and teacher in the Phoenix Metropolitan area. Despite having degrees in Music Performance, Dr. Hoeckley is a passionate and engaging music educator. She is currently the Adjunct Flute Professor at Phoenix College, a regular clinician at local flute camps and courses, and teaches at the Colorful Clef Flute Studio, her active private studio with members ages 8-70+. Dr. Hoeckley is a member of the Arizona MusicFest Woodwind Quartet and the Mill Ave Chamber Players, chamber ensembles that perform and promote educational outreach around the Valley.
Students of all ages and levels are welcome at the Colorful Clef Flute Studio! Come see how we make learning fun and inspiring! Students can participate in two annual studio recitals (December and June), and there are chamber music and flute choir opportunities available year-round.

Dr. Sabrina Hu enjoys a versatile career as a performer and educator. She has performed in many prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York City, the National Concert Hall in Ireland, Beijing University, the Central Conservatory of Music in China, and recitals in Seoul, Korea. Sabrina’s performances have been broadcast live on BBC and RTHK radio and TV. Her performances have been described as “warm, sensitively balanced and flexible” with “emotional engagement…expressive depth” by the Irish Times. Sabrina has been flute faculty at Rhodes College in Memphis in TN, Lycoming College in PA, the National University of Ireland in Maynooth, and Michigan State University as a teaching assistant. Sabrina has worked in several orchestras, including the Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland, the Wexford Opera Orchestra, the Lansing Symphony Orchestra, and the Memphis Symphony Orchestra. She is a passionate and devoted teacher and has taught a private studio of young flutist who have won competitions and have been accepted to many prestigious festivals. Sabrina believes in inspiring students and working with them at their current level and abilities to bring out the best in every student.

Flutist Jiyoun Hur is an orchestra player and experienced flute teacher who has been teaching for 15 years. She also worked as a teaching assistant at Arizona State University. She has numerous performance experience and competition winning experience, such as Alexander international competition, Hugo Kauder international competition. She has performed in Carnegie Hall in New York, twice.

About the teacher: Abby Simpson Puckett is a versatile flutist, piccoloist, and music educator. She has experience as an ensemble player in orchestras and wind bands, in classical ensembles and commercial ensembles, and as a soloist. As an educator, Abby has taught students of all ages in the classroom, in marching bands, and in private lessons. Abby graduated Summa Cum Laude from Belmont University in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education, and in May 2018 with a Master of Music degree, Flute Performance, at Arizona State University. Abby also holds additional teaching certifications through the Kindermusik preschool music curriculum. Abby has performed with many professional groups, such as the Nashville Ballet Orchestra, the Nashville Cinematic Symphony, and as a substitute musician for the Nashville Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Phoenix Symphony. In October of 2018, Abby won the Piccolo/2nd Flute position for the Symphony of the Southwest. Abby is passionate about music education and the flute community, and is an active member of the National Association for Music Education, the National Flute Association, and is the Secretary of the Arizona Flute Society.

Michelle Stolper is an actively performing flutist and teacher in the greater Phoenix area. In addition to playing flute and piccolo with the Phoenix Symphony, she has performed with orchestras throughout Arizona, Indiana, and Kentucky. Michelle currently directs flute choirs at Boulder Creek HS and Mountain Ridge HS and has worked as a lecturer and ensemble coach at the AFS Flute Camp. Student accomplishments include placements in Arizona regional and all state ensembles, gold awards at the Indiana State School Solo Competition, first place in regional and international ACE Student Convention, and admittance to college music programs.
